There are thousands of cameras on MIT’s campus. Most of us walk past them without a second look.
This art project makes them visible. In the spirit of the faculty who have been decorating campus cameras with rhinestones and googly eyes, and of Jill Magid’s bedazzled cameras before them, every camera found here gets a gem or a pair of eyes. The decoration doesn’t change what a camera does. It just makes sure you know you’re being watched.
